Terms of Service

1. Fictional Entertainment Only

The Invisible Puppeteer is a work of fiction created exclusively for entertainment and interactive strategy simulation. All companies, corporations, financial institutions, characters, storylines, intelligence dossiers, and market events depicted in Chapter One: The Apex Operation are entirely fictional.

Any resemblance to actual commercial entities, real persons (living or deceased), ongoing legal proceedings, or actual market events is strictly coincidental.

3. Simulated Assets & No Ownership

All in-game currency, stocks, holding company stakes, corporate bonds, intelligence tokens, and assets are simulated scorekeeping mechanisms within the game database.

Simulated assets possess zero real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for fiat currency or tangible property, and cannot be traded or transferred outside the application. Players hold no personal property interest or title in any simulated game asset.

4. Age Requirement & Eligibility (13+)

You must be at least 13 years of age to access, register for, or participate in the Private Alpha. By creating an account or signing in, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

5. Account Responsibility & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You agree to notify the operator promptly of any suspected unauthorized access or security compromise.

6. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree to use the service solely for lawful personal entertainment. You agree not to:

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of server infrastructure or authentication gates.
• Deploy automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or excessive request loops against the server.
• Attempt to access or modify data belonging to other players.
• Exploit software defects or vulnerabilities to disrupt game operations.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

7. Suspension & Termination for Misuse

The operator reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account found to be in violation of these Terms, attempting to breach server security, or abusing system resources, without prior notice.

8. Private Alpha Changes, Resets & Downtime

The service is provided as a developmental Private Alpha. The operator reserves the right at any time, without liability, to:

• Modify, rebalance, or adjust game rules, numbers, and narrative arcs.
• Reset, wipe, or migrate player campaign progress during system updates or milestone changes.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance or temporary emergency downtime.
• Discontinue or modify any aspect of the service during alpha testing.

9. Intellectual Property

The game’s original narrative content, game design, custom code, and branding are owned by the operator. Third-party software components, open-source libraries, icons, fonts, and external cloud services incorporated into the application remain owned or licensed by their respective owners and licensors.

10. Voluntary Feedback & Submissions

If you voluntarily submit feedback, bug reports, balance suggestions, or narrative ideas, you grant the operator an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, adapt, implement, and incorporate your feedback into current and future versions of the game without compensation or attribution.

11. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.

12. Future Updates to Terms

These Terms may be revised as the game develops. Continued participation in the Private Alpha following the publication of updated Terms constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
